Create OpenSUSE Live USB from Windows
This tutorial will show you how to create OpenSUSE Live USB from a Windows machine. On this tutorial, I am trying to create OpenSUSE 12.3 Milestone 0 Live USB. You can grab this development version of OpenSUSE 12.3 ISO for testing.
To create OpenSUSE Live USB from Windows machine, we need the following items:
Steps to create OpenSUSE Live USB from Windows
A. Run ImageWriter.exe
B. Browse the OpenSUSE ISO file using Select button. You will need to type *.* on the file name, to reveal all .ISO files on your disks. Otherwise you won't see any of your ISO files.
C. Select the USB disk from the list and press Copy.
D. When finished, boot your computer using the flash disk.

When I ran the imagewriter, it said:
The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135)
The imagewriter program is only 30.5 kb (Sorry, but maybe I am too accustomed to windows, and that size for a useful program in windows is really rare.)
It worked perfect. I was looking for something like this a long time. Now i've found it.
Thank you very much!!
Hey Anonymous,
